Trails of Cold Steel III Version 1.07 Patch Notes

Hi everyone, today we are releasing a patch for Trails of Cold Steel III which improves how the game interacts with platform achievement APIs. This should prevent performance issues in some circumstances, specifically when a large number of achievements was already unlocked. Note that this issue surfaced due to changes in how Steam deals with repeated achievement API calls, and this change affects many of our prior releases in similar ways. We are committed to patching all affected releases, but this has taken some time, especially for cases where we need to re-build games for which we already archived various development resources. Good combat and decent OST, that's the only positives I can list. As for the negatives...extremely repetitive narrative and structure (even for kiseki standards), boring and unengaging dialogues. ♥♥♥♥ cast and boring protagonist who gets wanked by the plot without any actual stakes. CS3 also retroactively becomes way worse after knowing that CS4 completely ruined whatever good CS3 had in its finale. To sum it up CS3...

A huge upgrade graphically from the first two games, also lets you look up skirts. Anyways all four games are great. Cant give anything but 10/10.

An absolute goliath of a game to 100%, but so rewarding when you've played the preceding games. Was my first time doing a Nightmare playthrough on NG (you can get all achievements in one run), and it was definitely the right call. It's very rough in the start, but the difficulty smooths out nicely and at the right peak of the curve it's very engaging. Onto the next game!
