2026-09-26Quaver website redesign and overhaul Some of the more notable features include: Maps have new search filters, including but not limited to keymode, difficulty, map length, long note percent, play count, tags, etc. Profiles now include most played maps, and for donators, pinned scores Selection of free profile banners for everyone (donators get to use their own!) Players can now purchase a perk (separate from donator status) that allows them a permanent customizable color accenting to their profile pages Clans can now purchase a perk that allows you to rename the Clan or Tag, the "about" section for the clan, and a customizable color accent. We will be working on outreaching to different parts of the community across different platforms to bring more eyes to community generated content, to better facilitate the organizing and hosting of events, and we will even be working on creating some exclusive content of our own! Some of our ideas so far include: • Interviews with prominent figures of the community • Small Quaver approved multi-lobby events • Map highlights?! • And generally bringing attention to other community creations or events! If you haven't already, consider joining the community discord! We've got plenty of action going on there. As a side note, if any of our readers have ideas for additional content, events, or things you would like to share; Yashi and I would love for you to reach out to us and let us know! Canary Beta and future sneak peeks And now for a little teaser! For those unaware, Quaver has a Canary Beta branch that comes with a few new perks. To access it: • Right click Quaver in your steam library • Go down to "Manage" • Click "Game Versions & Betas" • Select the Canary version From there, your game should update and you will now be on Canary! Some sneak peeks of future updates that will be available on Canary • Increased Stability and some QoL updates • More Localizations • Editor stability improvements + extra flexibility for SV mapping • Editor Bookmark feature to help you remember important sections in a map • New keybind system • New options menu • And more... Keep your eyes peeled for even more updates!
