DirectX 12 support is now here with this update! In my experience this is the fastest and smoothest version of the game and is therefore now the game's default graphics renderer. Pics rendered with the game's new DirectX12 renderer! New Launch Options The game now features 3 launch options, one for each graphics renderer: 1) Default: DX12 - which is now the game's default renderer. 2) Vulkan is provided as the second preferred option. 3) DX11 is retained for compatibility with older systems, but not recommended unless necessary, as the first two options provide vastly superior experiences of the game :) Looking ahead A number of major features and expansions are indeed on the way. This update is essentially a proving ground for the underlying platform changes made in preparation. The feast is sweeter when it arrives as a surprise, so expect a few great surprises for the game early next year! Stay tuned for more news on each of these! All in all, 2026 promises to be the culmination of the game's many years of effort, much thanks to the game's wonderful players for so lovingly awaiting the blossoming of this nature simulation game to its highest potential. Wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! With Love, Venugopalan Sreedharan (Developer of Nature & Life - Drunk On Nectar) Thanks for reading! :)
