Space shooters never die. 1993 is a testament to that. 1993 is a classic shoot em up celebrating games like Gradius, R-Type and Life Force.

We recently released an update for 1993! The instakill was in fact a bug caused by shield mechanics not working as intended. This has been fixed, and players should face less frustrations with progressing through the game now. Full patch notes: • Updated Japanese localization • Fixed shield mechanics • Corrected minor bugs • Updated MacOS version

Old-school side-scrolling shooter with retro vibes and simple but satisfying gameplay. The pixel graphics and co-op mode give it that classic arcade feel, and there’s a decent variety of ships and weapons to unlock. It’s not super deep, but if you like nostalgic arcade action it’s a fun little blast from the past.

simple enough game so I don't have any issues with it. Would personally wait till its heavily discounted or get it in a bundled pack.

But the first game on my alphabetical list was this little gem. What is 1993 Space Machine? I'm still not sure. There's some kind of weird story about a bad guy who makes weird robot thingys? I don't think it was 1993 or I encountered the space machine. But it's a fun little...
