Scumbag Disney has delisted this game to help drive sales of the remaster. As someone who played the remaster, I can confirm they are 100% only doing this to drive sales of the remaster. The remaster doesn't offer anything of value above updated sprites, and the price difference didn't make sense. It's hard now to imagine a game being better at being Doom than Doom, but Lucasarts was able to accomplish it with more complex level designs and better story. Levels are unique and feel more like real places then the hallways and courtyards of other games of the time. Dark Forces also experimented more with verticality and exploration. This game is still pretty good all things considered. It felt like a mix of classic Doom with Goldeneye thanks to its non linear objective based level design. Something worth noting is that you can jump and crouch in this game, making the levels more engaging and varied.
