Found my blue box while moving my desk with the entire half life platinum edition. Happy that Steam allowed the key code to work. The game work very well on modern systems, and it still is a great game.

Tips for new fans: 1) Don't forget about the tutorial (Training Room). I managed to miss it my first playthrough and didn't learn about some mechanics until I played Half-Life 2. 2) Take it slow. This game (and all the other Half-Lifes) greatly benefits if you take the time to explore and take in the many details of the environment. 3) You might want to turn the music volume up/SFX volume down? After 20 years of my friend bothering me to finish this game, I did. We joked that all these years they've kept from releasing HL3 because I never finished HL1. WELL NOW I DID. If they release or announce HL3 soon. YOU'RE WELCOME. ' Also I hate the fall damage. Way too many deaths due that because "only one way to go but you WILL take 10-20 dmg from it. Hope you have HP for it tehee"
