I’m excited to share that the demo of Things Too Ugly has received an update. The demo plunges players into the night shift in a new job as they commence a thrilling sci-fi mystery, and it has been e x p a n d e d to provide them with a little more: + Players can progress the story further + A DEMO-EXCLUSIVE EASTER EGG PUZZLE has been added I want to thank all who have played the Things Too Ugly demo. It’s been a blast to watch people engage with the game’s mechanics, story, and puzzles. If you have not yet played the demo, I encourage you to take a look and kick-off the mystery within. I really wanted to like Things Too Ugly more than I did. The 1986 office setting is brilliant, and sitting at an old terminal decoding files, reading documents and slowly working out what is going on creates a really strong atmosphere at the start. It feels like it is setting you up for something much deeper and more unsettling. Unfortunately, it never really gets there. I expected the investigation to require...

Things Too Ugly feels like an interactive short radio drama filled with puzzles and a bit of horror. While I've read some reviews complaining about not having a save system, I don't feel like it's needed. The game itself is about 2 hours long, but once you grasp the puzzle system it can be pretty quick. One suggestion for anyone starting out is to play with the radio. There's a few radio stations with great music...

Nice little puzzle game. The puzzle mechanics are really fun, even though the puzzles themselves are somewhat too easy. The game is very short, however the worldbuilding within the time frame is really nice, accompanied with good art and visuals. I really enjoyed the voice acting as well. It reminded me of the earlier seasons of the TMA podcast. There's definitely great potential here! The soundtrack was lovely...
