Mage Mayhem is the kind of roguelike I found easy to jump into because the central idea is so enjoyable. I get to play a mage, choose abilities that shape my build and then throw increasingly ridiculous amounts of magic around the battlefield. I liked how much freedom there is in deciding what kind of spellcaster I want to become, especially because the different classes give the game very different...
