i'm not even joking when i'm saying i had less crash outs playing dark souls 3 than ys 1. they don't have achievments for completing the game on hard (only for the nightmare) so if you're a normal person just play on easy. the balance isn't very good so some bosses are brain dead easy and some are extremely unfair. i recommend it because i think it's overall fun if you understand the time period it was made in. also...

I do recommend this game, but the work done for this port is pretty bad. The game logic is tied to your framerate, so for any modern gamers running the game on a high framerate, they'll quickly find that bosses are doing attacks at ridicilous speeds, and at the highest difficulty, impossible to dodge. Ys might be a very very hidden franchise, but it doesn't mean that the games are awfull. The game's soundtrack is 10/10; The game's graphics are 9/10; The game's history is 8/10; The only thing is that the game doesn't seem to guide correctly where you need to go, sometimes you gotta se a video of some sorts to know what to do next.
