Controls & Physics Update: Keely is now even more responsive and agile!
2026-06-23Hello, little braves! Since the release of The Little Brave, I have been carefully reading every single review and feedback you’ve shared. My main goal is to make your journey through the forbidden lands as pleasant and smooth as possible, while maintaining the fair challenge inherent to the Metroidvania genre. I am excited to present a major technical update that expands and improves the movement mechanics in the game! What's changed? · Input Buffering: No more "swallowed" inputs! The game now pre-reads your commands during animations. Double jumps, dashes, and transitions to ranged attacks now trigger exactly when you need them. · Improved Platforming Precision: I’ve reworked the jump timings and the hero's responsiveness mid-air — now, overcoming treacherous traps and platforms depends entirely on your skill.

· Complete World Stability: I’ve optimized and fixed the level geometry. Collision errors have been resolved — Keely will no longer fall through textures or get stuck in level corners, no matter how fast you dash through the forbidden lands. For New Players If you’ve been keeping an eye on the game — now is the absolute perfect time to start your adventure! A fully polished gameplay experience awaits you, where every jump and strike feels intuitive and highly predictable. For Veterans Download the update, jump back in, and see for yourself how obedient and responsive Keely has become in battles against mighty guardians! Your old save files will work flawlessly. Thank you for helping make The Little Brave better. Share your impressions in the comments below — I’ll keep working hard on developing the game further! P.S. A small heartfelt request from the solo dev: I am creating this game completely on my own, and your support is the only thing that drives this project forward. Right now, the game has an incredible 97% positive rating, and we are just 16 reviews away from Steam officially granting it the prestigious "Very Positive" status. If you are enjoying the game, or if this patch has made your adventure better, please take just one minute to leave a short review on Steam. For the store's algorithms, this is a critically important milestone that will help the game attract new players. Thank you so much for your kindness and for being with me on this journey! ❤
