Given the visual style and quality of the original game, very few people expected a remake of XIII. Even fewer wanted to play a game that released in such a sorry state. I honestly don’t fully understand why this game receives so much negativity. I loved the original XIII, and I genuinely enjoyed this remake. While it’s true that the NPCs could be smarter and some elements still need polishing, I personally didn’t encounter any game-breaking bugs, and overall my experience was very positive. Respect to the recent patches. IT DID GET BETTER. However there is still no reason to not play the classic version. Some things still suck (especially cutscenes) and some things didnt need to be there like running mechanic and ADS. I know it may sound stupid but ppl who buy this dont want to play a modern low budget game, we want to experience the OLD game with new engine. And while probably any side by side...
