Probably not. This was built for eSports anyways and largely fell flat on that bet, mostly because of how it was handled by SEGA. Due to this, it was largely left abandoned as a side game for a spinoff franchise (Puyo Puyo) to a mostly forgotten original series (Madou Monogatari). Even when it was new, I wasn't getting bites years ago for random matches and I'm sure it's not much better half a decade or more...

poopoo chumps is my favorite game This is the pared down version of modern Puyo specifically for ladder play. The PC ladder is decently active, but if you want to play with the real gamers you need to also get the game on Switch. It's pretty cheap ($7-10 depending on the season) so it's worth owning one for each major platform you play.

It's a cheap, accessible way to play Puyo Puyo online. Severely lacking as a puyo game in lot of ways, but it's okay. If you own either PPT game, there's not really much for you here. Biggest reason to pick it up is to play Fever online, which for me was well worth the price alone. But also this game reintroduced and localized both Serilly and Harpy, so I'm happy!! >w<
