The infamous labyrinth level has been replaced with a much more entertaining one. It is now also possible to accelerate the dialogs and cut-scenes by pressing the 'fire' button. The shot effect of the Ottropi Technocracy has been changed and, finally, the performance has been improved through various fixes in the spawn vortexes, explosions and others. While I wouldn't say that this is the best game I've ever played (and that isn't what a 100% positive review score means, which this game has as of the time this review is being written), but it is a good game. I got it for free, not sure I'd pay full price for it, but I'd have probably grabbed it on sale if I had been aware of it before it was free.
