This game feels half-baked, a compromise when compared to what I assume was its original vision. I heard it had a troubled development cycle, so that tracks. Classical JP visual novel with decent grid-based tactical gameplay and a compelling story. The combat isn't difficult and the presence of free battles means you should never feel under-powered.
