The original Mosaic was one of my favourite games of all time. So when I've learnt that this lovechild of jigsaw puzzle and "fuzzy felt" got a second instalment, I bought it in a heartbeat! Mosaic: Game of Gods II is my first experience with a patchwork puzzle title, and I should say I am quite impressed how simple yet captivating a game like this can be. I should also mention that I have not got a chance to try the first title in this series yet, so I am a bit clueless about some parts of the plot. I quite enjoyed this mosaic game; it was relaxing to play. There is no timer on this one. The pieces adhere to your cursor when clicked. It is a little more challenging to get 3 stars on a level than other mosaics I have played. If you use a hint, it takes away a star. All the levels are possible without hints; some may just take longer than others.

This is a rather pleasant puzzle game. There is a story line, but it's very sparse, with some information in the beginning, and very little after that. If you're here for the story, you're in the wrong place. Graphically the game is basic, but the colours and the prints / mosaics look like, and it's enjoyable seeing them come together as you place the pieces.
