Maid of Sker

Probably one of the least frightening (I would say not at all) games I have ever played. First, the gameplay itself is slow and shallow, like, what do you mean this is a game about creatures that can only hear you and you can't throw something to get there attention? Only hold your breath with both hands like a toddler. Second, the atmosphere is generic lovecraftian; really the basic b of lovecraftian horror...

Nice atmosphere, nice art and music. But bad gameplay. The breathing mechanism is stupid. The enemies are distractions rather than real threats, their AI is pretty random. The puzzles are not fun. The FPS challenges are funny but not the same as a real FPS. And no it's not scary. Amnesia without creatures is more scary than this.
