Steins Gate 0 is a diamond in the rough. Some of the best moments in the series are shining through uncut, unpolished edges, but it’s not perfect. It’s not ideal. Hell, it’s not even good half of the time. Steins Gate 0 has massive pacing issues, the art style changes are questionable and ruin the unique aesthetic the original novel used to have. Overall I liked this, would give a thumb up, but I don't think its score should be that near to SG's. Spoilers ahead. I'm pretty sure this've been already pointed out, but the fact this game takes place right before the ending/climax of the first one is kind of a problem, since you know what's gonna happen at the end. Not as good as STEINS;GATE but it's really interesting. Some of the AI discussion feels relevant in this day and age. No spoilers but don't jump into this one first just because it has 0 in the name.
