NOTE: Only "playable" with the Unofficial Patch mod While this is an older game clearly meant as propaganda in favor of extreme environmentalism, I find myself liking it. It has a certain uniqueness to it. There's really no other game like it more than 15 years after release.

Barely a game, "Fate of the World" plays more like a simulation. It rewards adapting your strategy to the specific need of each region and is therefore a very informative, decision-rich game. Would recommend to any players who enjoy resource management or want to learn about Climate Change and the politics/technologies/nuances behind it. It was pretty poor at the time, but gets more ridiculous as time goes on. Fortunately the developer never made anything else.
