The game goes SUPER slow for the first level, which makes it very boring up front. While this works well for the fact there are no controls/instructions provided, it would be better to have that instead. Getting a 100% perfect run is easy on the first level. Stellar Warrior is an unfinished/broken game disguised as a SHMUP that is both impossibly difficult and mind-numbingly simple. Stellar Warrior is an uninspired vertical scrolling shmup. The controls are muddy, the graphics simplistic, uninspired low-fi "art". Either deliberate or badly done, it's hard to be sure. This is a very mediocre entry in the list of hundreds of shmups on Steam. I can't recommend this over any of the others.
