A new patch has been deployed today with the following fixes/changes: - Fixed an issue where the game may crash when connected to a high refresh rate monitor. - There were instances where the game did not function correctly when connected to a high refresh rate monitor that offers numerous resolution options. This has now been addressed. This patch should improve or eliminate stability or launch issues that were dependent on the connected display device.

Decent emulations of the "downward spiral" of the Mega Man X franchise. The emulation doesnt seem to have any of the latency issues that collections of these usually bring. Its got that going for it. Would have been nice to have some more shaders/filtering options but this is barebones stuff meant to make a quick buck so no surprise there. The extra features/challenges are worthless unless you are a masochist or...

Play this if you enjoy Megaman. This collection's soundtrack is OUTSTANDING. But BEWARE - X5 and X6 failed to expand on our heroes' universe in any meaningful way. X7 and X8 are criticized as poor attempts to evolve Megaman's traditional two-dimensional gameplay into something worthwhile on Playstation 2's 3D library. Excellent ports, mixed games (in terms of quality beforehand) X5 and X8 are fantastic as they always have been, X6 and X7 can suck a lemon. Losing my marbles trying to 100% this collection simply because of the tediousness that X6 and X7 provide in general. Overall it's a really good collection and I feel the presence of X5 and X8 balance it out.
