The second entry in the OPUS series is where they are starting to find their footing. Still feels like it was a mobile first game but they are thinking about how it should fit on other platforms. I really like OPUS: Rocket of Whispers. The two OPUS titles couldn’t be more different and yet are still thematically quite similar. I enjoy the dark, melancholic atmosphere and the exploration of a dystopian world. Fei and John work well as protagonists in this setting, and their relationship develops in a meaningful way over time. The story was interesting enough, just sadly nothing in the game is voiced, because if it was it would have been way more captivating. I tried to read most of the dialogue the way I was imagining the characters would speak, and I'm sure you won't get their emotions and motives as well if you don't do it. Of course, that's why to have voice over is such important part of any game by my opinion.
