Update: Cache File Deletion No Longer Required

2026-04-14

During the emergency maintenance conducted on Thursday, April 9, we implemented server-side fixes. As a result, the previously announced manual deletion of cache files, which was communicated on Friday, April 3, is no longer necessary, and we would like to withdraw that news post. I enjoy the game, but I can't recommend it as a product in its current state for two reasons: 1. Though this is not mentioned on the store page and can only be found at the very bottom of their EULA, DBFZ does include Denuvo DRM, stripping legal customers of true ownership of the game. If this had been clearly labelled on the store page like it is with most Denuvo games, I wouldn't have bought the game. 2. DBFZ...

Did you know that enabling Linux support on easy-anti-cheat tends to be only checking one box? Now you know, and bandai is lazy enough to not do it, at this point its just malicious.

The game is really fun, has great visuals, but it still is simple enough for a kid to master it (my 5th grade students beat my ass using Super Broly)

This game is beautiful, for me the best Dragon ball game ever, But for some reason, Bandai would not update its anticheat, so the online doesn't work on Steam Deck and Linux (you will be disconnected after 1 minute). Hope I can return to play this game, one day. If they update EasyAnticheat, i will update this review as positive.
