This was the first-ever PC Game I owned in 1994, and until today, I'd never completed it. Absolutely charming game - tough puzzles and it doesn't hold your hand and lead you, Lots of trial and error and I'm not too big to admit, checks of a walkthrough. Also.. Is that Chris Barrie as the voice of Simon? because I can only picture Arnold Rimmer the entire game with that dry-wit and pompous sarcasm. Great game for...

The classic is still fun, played the Scumm version so I could window it. Was one scene it crashed a lot in with druid but I just saved whenever I could between conversations.

I am an avid fan of Simon the Sorcerer. I have been playing the series for a good 30 years now and I love every minute of it. However, this is by FAR the worst version of the game I have played and it is not even close. The people behind this version of the game have given the game a gross interface and options menu. Auf Deutsch mit Untertiteln gespielt, das Spiel ist ziemlich broken. Erstens hat nur Simon Untertitel, alle anderen Charaktere nicht. Zweitens: In Dialogen oder wenn Simon ein Item untersucht, hat man oft 1-4 MINUTEN Stille. Manchmal ist das überspringbar, oft aber auch nicht. Und wenn man die Stille überspringt, kann es sein, das Teile der Story dann mit übersprungen werden. Ehrlich gesagt macht es das Erlebnis...
