Where to start...it wouldn't be accurate to say that Lydia is a visual novel. Even though it is mostly about the story and reading, there are minor actions and movements in between. The developers definitely understand the subject matter. Incredibly, gut-twistingly portrayed, and exactly as long as it needed to be. Cathartic, too - thank you for that choice at the end.

Short, artsy story game, about the looming monster that alcoholism can become to the children of the alcoholic's family.
