Christmas Stories: The Nutcracker is a lavish production and up to the usual standard with Elephant Games. Fans of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s story may object to this retelling, but there’s enough adventure and fun here to be worth taking part in. This is a cute little puzzle Christmas game. It's quite clearly a fairly old game graphically and gameplay wise. But it kept me thinking and I really enjoyed the little bonus game with all the cats! I don't know anything about the nutcracker story so I cannot comment on how true to the original this is. But it hit the spot for me when I was craving a Christmas game!
