Back in the days this kind of games used to be a freeware on the internet, now they litter Steam Store making more difficult to find valuable indie production. The game doesn't look compelling at all in the first place: cell-shading graphics resemble more plastic Army Men game than anything with shading. This is the type of game I would expect to see on XboxLive Arcade in like 2012. It's... fine. It doesn't have the momentum of Hotline Miami. nor does it have the story. Nor the complexity. Nor the soul. I'm not a fella who's DYING to play Hotline Miami clones with shallow level-up mechanics. But it's inoffensive and short, so if you get it for free (or got it in Humble Choice), it's not an entire waste of time.

If you ever played Hotline Miami and thought, "This is great, but what if it was a co-op angel and demon power fantasy?" then God's Trigger is your answer.
