I love this game to bits. I remember playing this game for the first time years ago on my friend's crappy HP computer, because this was the only game it could really run. I do really like this game but i cant justify giving it a positive review, i feel that the difficulty spike is too immense for the game to be fun, and to overcome that difficulty you have to get lucky with available builds to get far. if you like hard games this is great, if not, id not recommend it. pixel style is great, rogue-lite elements and unique playstyles make it stand out. i think that mostly the hard...

I gave this game a good shot, but I didn’t really like it. The character classes were fine, and the core mechanics of combat and platforming were solid, but the experience felt tedious. It leans hard into a permadeath roguelike loop, with random perks, gods, and drops. The difficulty curve felt steep in a way that felt punishing more than rewarding.
