- The amount of apprehensions one can get from poetry no longer correlates to Esoterica stat, in order to avoid a massive exploit; - Fixed one small borked branch of election concern during Gallows Minister's interview; - Amended one miniscule inconsistency during Violante's concern; - Buyable Scrutinies now properly remove Reproach; - Fixed limitations on stat advancement for two crew members (was unintentionally transferred from the mod); - A certain embassy in the City of Keys can be visited only once per visit now; - Error in Laudanum's pricing is fixed.

This is one of my favourite steam games I have ever played. The worldbuilding is fantastic, so much so that when I played sunless sea and sunless skies afterwards, they left me bored and wanting more.

This game takes up so much space in my head. I love the vibes and the simple gameplay that really focuses the narrative and impressionistic elements of the game. I have memorized the music, I think about the art often, and experiencing this game really innovated for me the possibility of what narratives can be in games. Great stuff.

Why have I never reviewed this???? It's crazy how many of the games that I thought were the most brilliant, I forget to review. Sorry about that. Anyway, this game oozes the spirit of Lovecraft in a way that few people could ever dream of.
