Suits MV Update (03/29/20)

A lot of players have encountered a strange bug once they reached the Factory Fields and encountered a random battle the game would just get stuck on a loading screen. When this was first reported, I wasn't able to replicate it. Eventually I managed to encounter the same problem, but with no way of fixing it. After a member of our discord reached out to us about this issue I explained that there seemed to be no fix. I decided to give it another go and I wasn't encountering this issue anymore. However this happened before where the game was working fine, but once I made a build the same problem would occur. Except this time it actually worked. I'm guessing this new version of RPG Maker MV fixed something. Not only that but now I was able to make a proper Linux and Mac port of Suits via RPG Maker MV rather than the weird hack I had to do. Please let me know if these versions are working.

Played through it back in the day, don't remember much but it was good enough to finish. It has its ugly charm and the tech side has no issues. The satire on capitalism is on point. For 0.99€ it's well worth it.

So, I'm gonna recommend this and tell everyone I like it. And I do plan on playing the sequel, along with any other games from this studio that seems interesting to me. However, between you and me, this game is slightly disappointing to me. Not too much, ultimately I had a good time with the game, but admittedly it was not as strong as it seemed at first. However, before we get into all that negativity, lets focus...

It's.. okay. It's a nice little slice of mid-2010s RPGMaker, coupled with all of the references one might expect, which I think were dated even back then. The latter bits get kind of sloggy, but for less than a dollar there's enough interesting parts (mostly the artstyle) to stick around.
