Samorost 2 Just Got a Major Update For Its 15th Anniversary

Hello! As many of you noticed, there was an update coming for a while - and it just landed on Steam! The new enhanced version now runs in full-screen and with improved visuals, achieving higher resolution of assets thanks to a custom trained AI. Sounds have been revised and often re-recorded, too, giving the main character a wider range of vocal expressions, and more. The list of improvements continues with a new opening screen, simplified user interface, minor tweaks in game design, and achievements support. The outdated, level code-based save system was replaced with a more user-friendly level selection in the main menu. There's also the new zoom feature that allows you to explore the world from up close. One more thing - the game is now officially supported on Mac, and you'll also find it on iOS and Android app stores. The new and improved version brings:

Really enjoyed this one! The little alien world is so strange and creative, and I liked the humor throughout the game. The puzzles were fun to figure out, and I really liked the overall atmosphere. Another lovely game from Amanita Design!

It's a classic Amanita Design point and click puzzle game and it's dirt cheap at sale, but man is it glitchy. I don't remember it being this bad? Is it windows 11? Triggers and interactive objecs break all the time, forcing you to restart the level, sometimes it can be solved by changing from windowed and full screen mode, other times you'll need to restart the scene (they are all super short, so you don't waste that...

A short point and click game. The art and non verbal characters are really surreal and charming. The puzzles are kinda weird and usually involve clicking a series of things on the screen in the right order, or dragging something from one place to another. It can be really hard to tell what's clickable and what's not, which I think might be the greatest source of challenge and frustration. I don't remember how this...
