looks exactly like towerfall ascension with extremely similar mechanics like the dodging while in air, grabbing on to the sides of walls, arrows shoot very similarly and stick to the walls, and of course the dropping down through the level to be falling from the top (but lots of games have that). the thing that separates this from towerfall is the lack of content and updates. i dont believe this game is being made...

An exciting Early Access Title. Axes and Arrows is an Action/Combat Platformer with Single & Multiplayer. The game is setup Same Screen with wrapping similar to Towerfall, there is a Bow, an Axe, and Dash Manuevers. Fun, fast, and simple game mechanics. It plays a lot like Towerfall or Super Crate Box, there's 4 player competetive battles or a Quest mode that can be single player or 2 player co-op. I'm happy to see more competitive local co-op games popping up on Steam, I'm tired of all of the awful RTS/Space Sim garbage that has been coming out of Steam Greenlight. One of the most fun indie games I own. I bought it while it was on sale for $5.99, but it is well worth $10. Don't hesitate about buying this game, even in early access, there's a new update with new stuff and fixes every couple of days, I like how active the developer is. Controller is recommended, but they found a pretty sweet way to do mouse and keyboard without making it feel awkward. I'm really impressed.
