Doomed'n Damned is an action game based on retro/classic platform games from Arcades and 16 bit consoles, but revised to the HD era. The level design, characters, plot and difficulty have a lot of influence from the late 80s and early 90s games. The development and production is by arc-gen, an one man indie game studio.

Solid action platformer just like the good old days. You are the son of the hero who vanquished the bad guy the last time. Now it's your turn to beat up the baddies and save the world! You start with a throwing dagger that can upgrade in size and power by collecting a power up. There are also throwing axes and a blue energy spell you can find or buy from a traveling merchant. Not a bad platformer, but in 2015 you would expect more than just a clone of some Ghosts & Goblins with a better graphics. Well, while we are at it go and try Castilla Maldita - 100% free and better than this game. This game could be nice, but it lacks some of the features of most classics - replayability, rewarding difficulty and atmosphere. ---------- For anyone interested in joining in on completing your own...

Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Ghosts N Goblins: Cheap Flash/Unity engine Edition. Xbox pad works. Limited assets. Camera too close to protag and massive hitboxes everywhere. Review: Controls feel okay. Camera too zoomed in. Often changing Z levels on platform exposes you to immediate danger and there is no way to know ahead of time with those blind jumps....

Holy hell is this game not worth your time. Your character controls, feels, and moves like a box. Your hitbox extends beyond the size of the character. It's clear when jumping and trying to fit through situations, you are simply a square or rectangle. The feel of this platformer is simply awful, and that is an absolutely critical thing to nail in this style of game. You don't need to play more than a few minutes to...
