Anima: Gate of Memories

I want to like this game. A somewhat colorful action-RPG with platforming elements sounds great on paper, and the story has its moments. But the combat, intended to feel like a cool mix between melee and ranged combat a la Devil May Cry, doesn't really flow that well, and mostly devolves to using ranged combat unless you're forced to engage, and several encounters feel either frustrating where one hit means you then...

One of my favorite games when it comes to fantasy RPGs. It's rich with the history, characters and everything else. If you love fantasy rpg games from ps2 or a lowest console, you will love it.

A PS1 game in 2016 damm an it Just got a remaster for who ? lol, but yea the game feels like its a homework for a new game developer.

Its has good combat mechanic and customization. The game give you freedom to challenge the bosses in any order, I think it's an interesting design to make the game less linear. The story also good, even it has no shiny AAA cut scene. Overall this game is good.
