Matsushima Michiru is a loved, respected, nationally-famous idol, worthy of singing on the same stage as the legendary Kazami Kazuki... in her own dreams, at least. In reality, she's a complete nobody, only able to perform in a dingy basement bar on the weekends for crowds numbering in the single digits.

*Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru Part 1* is one of Frontwing’s strangest and most unabashedly comedic experiments—a spin-off that gleefully tosses aside the dramatic, psychological tone of *The Fruit of Grisaia* and replaces it with a sugar-high magical-girl parody starring the perpetually unlucky idol, Matsushima Michiru. Idol Magical Girl Chiru Chiru Michiru Part 1 is a comedic spin-off of the Grisaia series that reframes Michiru as an idol-turned-magical-girl protagonist.
