I finally broke through. This is a fantastic SP game. A real spiritual successor and upgrade to OPFlash. Never play these games for MP because i can't devote enough time to get to baseline mastery, so I need a robust campaign. After this i'll give A3 another go and see if i can get through the city where my campaign had stopped progressing. Back in the day I gave A2 a red hot go, but gave up on the 'Razor Two'...

It's a good game but the controls are way too complex for me. They assign a key from your keyboard for every little action you do and I am personally not a fan of it. But the game is cool.

allthough playing this in 2026 is a pain in the ass mechanics wise the world feels super alive and especially makes for a lot of fun moments. the animals are super stupid and funny to play around with and allthough dated making some little single player scenarios is quite fun. if you are looking to buy this just do it for the dayz mod.
