Hearthlands is a medieval/fantasy city-building real time strategy game in which you take a role of a king in a procedurally generated world. You can not control your subjects directly; instead you focus on city-building, resource management, diplomacy, magic, etc.

* A few minor and/or technical changes here and there * Logs, configs, save games, screenshots, etc. moved to: %APPDATA%/hearthlands (on Windows) or $XDG_DATA_HOME/hearthlands (on Linux) which defaults to: c:/users//appdata/roaming/hearthlands (on Windows) or ~/.local/share/hearthlands (on Linux) Saves and screenshots created in previous versions will stay at their original location within the game's folder * Steam overlay no longer shows achievements progress (this was confusing) * Pigsty is finally no longer called "pigstry" Mac OS build is not yet updated since I don't have access to my Mac yet. GOG version will be updated soon!

Generic indie city builder with some basic generic fighting. I know it is almost 10 years old, but it is utterly skipable now.

I has campaign. It is simplified city builder, good introduction game to city builders. It is not revolutionary game, it is complete game (looking at you kingdoms and castles). It is not demanding, respects your time. So yes from me, a game does not have to be revolutionary , but it is at least complete game.

Solid game. The campaign starts easy but gets increasingly harder, took me a while to finish. Custom games make it really worth it.
