Wendigo Blue Next Update Soon

2026-10-01

Work is still progressing on more content updates. I'm aiming for Oct 11th to release this next update. A big part of this update is major changes to soul orb functionality. Soul orb control input has changed, as well as all soul orbs now having four spells each, triggered by different inputs. I'm sure there will be more adjustments to soul orbs in the future but i wanted to get these baseline changes in before work on the next player character as they will have a unique mechanic with the soul orbs. You can find more details about the update here.

by far the best modern beat em up in my opinion not without issue, but the issues are almost entirely fixed by playing solo without the AI companion i'm not sure this would be the first game i'd pull out with 4 people on a couch though but if I ever get the chance to then maybe I'll change my mind could do with more explanations for everything but people don't read the ones present currently anyways looking forward...

For now the game is okay, I love the art style and the first four characters are really cool and fun to play, but not everything is good, the game has some problems or at least what I think are problems. First you take too long to die, is...

amazing beat em up, one of the few i have ever seen with a good chunk of air combos and command grabs. The pixel art is pretty good the commands are tight and we also have a choose your own adventure and roguelike features. This is a must have for beat em up and fighting game fans.
