Restaurant Empire 2 version 1.25 Beta The latest Restaurant Empire 2 v1.25 Beta fixes two reported issues in v1.24 Beta and further improved the 'Offer Favorite Dish' menu. The dev team has added a new “Suggest” button to the Offer Favorite menu. This button automatically sets the price to the highest amount the customer is willing to accept. For example, if the current price is $10, clicking Suggest might raise it to $15 or whatever the maximum acceptable price is. To install Restaurant Empire 2 Beta Version 1.25 on Steam: Right-click Restaurant Empire 2 in your Steam Library and select Properties. In the window that opens, go to the Game Versions & Betas tab. Select Beta. Leave the access code field empty, as no code is required.

Close the Properties window. Your Steam library will now show the game as Restaurant Empire II \. Install or update the game, launch it, and you should see Version 1.25 displayed at the bottom of the main menu.

It's an old game with archaic and oftentimes baffling design choices, but I don't care. It's one of very few games that doesn't shove in some cooking minigame or force you to walk around the restaurant. It's purely managerial, and it's something I can appreciate in this day and age.

Weird to say but even though this is a very old game but nothing really has come close to the management side of running a restaurant. The focus here is much more in managing suppliers/ingredient costs than cooking mini games and recipe experimentation that has dominated this genre.
