I like this game but don't get the Steam version. Ideally this would be the FM Towns version with the best sound, but leaving that aside it's not even the VGA version. It's the version with the worst sound, a sort of tinny DOS sound. Play the VGA or better yet FM Towns version.

Cute and funny that replicates the story and dialogue with it's own unique twists from the actual film, but gameplay is certainly dated and not something I would consider fun. A lot of the progression can be softlocked without a save, along with the fact that some of it doesn't even follow the movie and can be very confusing

Warning: press Alt+S to remove that annoyingly ugly smoothing filter. At the time, there was already a nice leap forward in graphics compared to Maniac Mansion and Zak McKracken. Gone are the lanky, blocky, and barely animated characters, bn favor better proportions and more frames of animation, along with very nice locales; I especially dig the sections with top view.
