Devlog 1 - Here's a look at our new level select for V2.0!
2026-08-08Hi everyone! We wanted to give you a Development Update for v2.0 releasing on Tuesday, September 8th 2026. Story Mode will be reworked into a save file system, where you can play one continuous run across multiple sessions. Hardcore Mode will be a usable option for each new save file you create to make it more naturally integrated into the game. Each save file tracks what level you're on, how much time you've spent across sessions playing, and how many times you've died or reset on that file. There will also be a new Free Play section that includes all stand alone levels for you to play at any time (as long as you've unlocked them). Simply put, it's how all previous iterations of the level select work. Free Play will simply track your fastest completion times and highest difficulty clears for each level. See you in the next Devlog!
