The essence of the game is fun. But the economy is broken. As soon as a world war starts, industrial goods dry up. Meaning you also cannot build any new industry, as this also requires industrial goods. This shortage is global, causing the game to essentially stop being playable within a year of game time. No new construction is possible, no nation is able to actually improve its industry, and no one can import any...

holy crap is this a complicated RTS, but once you figure out the basics its fun then you'll spend hours trying to figure out more complicated things like trading and debt but its always fun. Note: half the time when you tab out the game freeze crashes so be sure to save often.

One of the best. The only flaw is the shallow diplomacy options and lack of multi-nation alliances.
