Major Update 1.26: Every Touch Feels Real
2026-10-02EVERY TOUCH FEELS REAL OUR BIGGEST GAMEPLAY REWORK YET 🎬 COMPLETE PHYSICS & ANIMATION REWORK After more than 100 updates, we believe this is probably the most spectacular update we’ve ever made for Motion Soccer. And this isn’t the kind of improvement you have to look for to notice. You should feel it within the first few seconds of your first match. We’ve reworked virtually every animation in the game and a huge part of the physical interaction with the ball. Until now, there were situations where an animation could artificially correct a player’s position or make the ball feel slightly “magnetic” to their feet. One of the main goals of this rework was to eliminate that feeling. Now every touch matters.

First touches, passes, dribbling, shots, changes of direction, jumping, movement on and off the ball, placing the ball, free-kick walls... virtually every type of movement you see during a match has been revisited. Players now need to actually make contact with the ball to control it, move it or strike it. Animations adapt much better to what is physically happening and transition into each other far more naturally. The result is difficult to explain with a simple list of changes: the game just feels different. Smoother, more physical, more unpredictable and much closer to the football experience we’ve been trying to achieve. 🧤 COMPLETELY IMPROVED GOALKEEPERS Goalkeepers are one of the areas that benefit the most from the new system. They’re now smarter, have many more animations and transition much more smoothly between movements. They no longer react in exactly the same way to similar situations. Their positioning, the trajectory of the ball and what is happening in the play can lead to different reactions and saves, making goalkeepers feel much more natural and less predictable. 🎮 IMPROVED THIRD-PERSON CONTROLS We’ve significantly improved third-person controls for both outfield players and goalkeepers. Movement, orientation and responsiveness have all been adapted to the new system to make controlling your player feel more direct and natural. 🎭 FOUR MORE ROLES ARE ALREADY UNDER CONSTRUCTION One of Motion Soccer’s defining features is the ability to experience the same match from completely different perspectives. The role selection screen now also previews four additional roles currently under construction: • 📸 Photographer • 🎥 Camera Operator • 🎙️ Commentator • 🩺 Physio / Medical Staff They aren’t playable yet, but they show where we want to take this idea next: making a football match something you can experience from almost anywhere in the stadium. 🐕 SUMMON THE DOG FROM CHAOS LAB When playing as a fan, you can now use the Chaos Lab tablet to trigger a dog running onto the pitch. ⚽ NEW CLASSIC LEATHER BALL Chaos Lab now also includes an old-style leather football. Use it to give your matches the feeling of another era and recreate football with a much more classic look. 😡 NEW SPECIAL EVENT: COACH FIGHT A coach can completely lose their temper and physically attack the opposition coach. If you’re refereeing and you see it, you’ll need to intervene and show the appropriate red card. 👊 A PLAYER CAN ATTACK THE REFEREE In extreme situations, a player may lose their temper and physically attack the referee. If you’re the one refereeing... you already know something like that can’t go unpunished. 👁️ CUSTOM FOV WITHOUT VR We’ve added a new option to choose your default FOV when playing without VR. 👕 LONG-SLEEVE KITS You can now select long-sleeve kits from the options. They’ll also be selected automatically by default whenever a match is played in snowy conditions. 🌐 ONLINE IMPROVEMENTS • Fixed several issues related to online play. • Various additional fixes and small improvements.
