Simple but fun. Attacks, special abilities and magic are quite simple but at the same time it makes the game playable in a fast way. Random map generation on skirmish mode and random units selection add a lot of variety, terrain and positioning are the key to win. I made two mods on configuration files: Custom insane difficulty mod (hardest difficulty wasn't enough for me): I edited Squads.csv file so enemy units...
