i have been playing this series for years prior to it being on steam and wholeheartedly recommend it as a not too deep panzer-general-esque naval game. There are a lot units, alot of scenarios and relentless ai opponent. I would say that some thing OOB is more historical and wargame which this is leaning more into something like the old Empire deluxe games.

Quite an endearing game and complexer/deeper than the title would suggest. Unfortunately its prone to crash more than what would be expected. But its fun to play when it works.

it is ridiculously difficult though. I can't find anyway of altering the levels. Have yet to win a battle. And I oen the first game. so it's not as if I haven't seen the mechanics before.
