It's not a colony sim it's open ttd alpha-centauri. They could probably sell more copies marketing the game as what it is.

Imagine Earth is one of the best city builder strategy games I've ever played, ESPECIALLY when it comes to using a controller. It is so hard to find a strategy game that has good controller support and it's clear that the team put in the time and effort to get the controller support right. It works like a charm on Steam Deck and it's buttery smooth on desktop. I can't recommend this one enough if you like city...

Nice graphics, and it runs smoothly on macOS, but the user interface is complicated and seems to be designed mainly for console gamepads. The game mechanics are quite simple and repetitive, so it’s not for seasoned city and colony builders.
