Critical update for uncontrolled fishers!

2025-05-05

Critical update to fix normal chatters being given elevated permissions - incorrectly allowing them to fish with a chat message even though the chat trigger is disabled, multicast, and cast on behalf of other users. This should all be fixed now! Special thanks to everyone on the discord who helped me debug this one <3 I'm currently still working on a fix for LurkBait disconnecting quietly during long streams, so stay tuned for that coming soon :-)

Cannot recommend until the dev fixes issues with connecting to Twitch. The problem is that the project is abandoned, and the dev is writing on Discord once every 6 months that he will release a hotfix "soon"

Absolutely love it, and the interaction it allows for your viewers is great! However, I can't recommend it it do to the sole fact that it's basically been abandoned at this point. Practically no updates to the game, with alot of existing issues who's fixes probably won't see the light of day. If this game did somehow garner attention again, and start getting updates, then I would 100% recommend, but as of now, I...

As cool as this software is, it's abandoned completely and hasn't had an update since May of 2025. The Twitch authentication keeps bugging out and if you are going to use this, you'll need to reset it every couple of hours. I've used this for several hours and unfortunately it's just abandoned, which sucks.
