Twin-stick action fire fighting game. Extinguish fires, rescue citizens, and protect property... at least until you steal it. Sneak past other fire fighters and police to sell your stolen loot while trying to keep the fire under control.

2024-09-10

Change Log • Game difficulty added in Settings menu. This modifies the burn rate of all fires. • Very Easy burns at 0.35 times normal speed. • Easy burns at 0.7 times normal speed. • Normal is the original burn rate. • Hard burns at 1.5 times normal speed. • Impossible burns at 2.5 times normal speed. • Player rotation reworked. Upper torso will now rotate towards the cursor at all times. • This fixes a bug where the hose nozzle could block water at extreme angles. • Axe now accurately hits the cursor target. • Music and Effects volume controls moved from General tab to new Sound tab in Settings menu. Level Changes • Mansion • Metal door to security room locked. This was unintentionally unlocked in update 1.1.

For a simple looking game, there are an impressive amount of mechanics involved. Take advantage of the early levels to get accustomed to them all, because the difficulty level escalates, fast. And I mean "Oop my hose is hooked let me just quickly go back and OH GOD this fire is out of control why won't it stop oh god I'm on fire".

Best to wait for now and see if the developer sorts out a few major problems. -Fire can spread too fast to be put out. In fact, this makes it about impossible to steal everything from the 3rd level, Mechanic, because the fire will burn what you need to steal. -There's a thing where you can wet stuff down to slow the spread of fire, but things dry up way too fast for it to matter. -The visual cones for people...
