Ungate is a hidden gem in the indie one-dev horror genre. No saves, just a few checkpoints, thrilling enemies and immersive run for life. Bite-sized in its length and the story is very ordinary, but fun as a horror game. I was given the game for free to try it on stream, and both me and my community loved it! From creepy ambient sounds and screams, to dark forests that you need to find your way through, monsters that chase you and a little bit of puzzle here and there, UNGATE gave me the ultimate experience of please please please be the right way, and please please please give me more batteries. This game is awesome and the developer did an awesome job at it... all I have to say is thank god for toggle crouch. crouching is 100% necessary at some points to survive. The games story and layout is very well thought out and it's definitely not a game for the weak of heart...super super intense.
