Recommended but you need to do this before playing: 1. install DLC fix patch 2. Install 4gb memory patch (otherwise the game will crash every 5-10minutes) 3. OPTIONALLY some fan add-on patches like "collection balancing" or "Ruse mod" 4. OPTIONALLY set your FPS to 30 (like many old games game speed is tied to FPS)

Amazing game, even in 2025. Don't buy any DLCs, only the original game. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: You cannot play this game on more than 60fps, because game logic (for example: how much time it takes to build stuff) is tied to the framerate. Ergo, if you have a 240Hz monitor and your PC can generate 240fps, you will never be able to finish any buildings before monsters destroy your castle and you lose the game....

Bad sequel to a good game. Graphics are unique but gameplay really drives down the quality to the dirt. Stick to Majesty Gold HD.
