Pros:
-very nice level of detail
-it's not just a straight A to B line, it branches around
-lots of sidings
-quite lenghty, very lenghty if you merge it with the North Jersey Coast route
-fits with a lot of various railway companies
-the locomotives included are very nice, if a bit framerate-heavy.

This is my favorite route in Train Simulator thus far:
Pros:
+ Good amount of length
+ Cab Signaling is amazing
+ ACS64 is my favorite locomotive I own (unfortunately, in the older NEC it does not run properly due to the ACSES system not being backwards compatible to the older signals).

I do not understand why this route has so few reviews.
It is a great route - detailed, VERY well modelled. Good for both passenger and freight operations with a string of beautifully modelled suburban stations and extensive freight yards and industrial sidings throughout. The drive into New York is so good.
I highly recommend it. I own a lot of routes, and this may be my favourite.
